Double Dead, by Chuck Wendig

This book is full of interesting concepts and possibilities. I just wish the execution was better.

The protagonist of this story is a vampire that calls himself Coburn. Coburn wakes up after a long slumber to find the world in the grip of a zombie apocalypse. I cared so much for Coburn that I couldn’t care less what happened after that. Not to say there isn’t some character development during the story, because there is, he’s just such a plain Jane boring character. I did read the book from start to finish, guess I like torturing myself, but I don’t recommend you do the same. With that, I end this review.
